Angel Food Ministry -- "A food ministry with a servant's heart."


We at Asbury are pleased to serve as an official host site for Angel Food Ministries, a non-profit organization offering reduced price groceries to the public. There are no qualification requirements, and anyone can participate in this ministry. Whether you need to reduce your food cost; are looking for a simple way to live into John Wesley's suggestion to "make all you can, save all you can, and give all you can;" or are looking for a way to help someone in need, the Angel Food program may be for you.

The program is quite simple.

1 -- Examine the menu (en español). A different one is posted on the Angel Food Ministries website each month. If it seems like something that you might like...
2 -- Come by the church office on one of our order processing days and place and pay for your order.

Methods of payment include: cash, money orders, and EBT (Food Stamps).
Order Processing Day:

Saturday, March 13th from 9 AM to noon


3 -- Come back to Asbury UMC on the distribution date, Saturday, March 20, 2010  at time given when you place your order, to pick up and enjoy your food.
