This photo documents the gap in service that our unhoused neighbors experience. The rules require that shelter residents leave the premises each morning after breakfast and return in the evening. This requirement leaves many with nowhere to go, even in inclement weather. On this day, the temperature rose to 98 degrees. Our most vulnerable neighbors face systemic challenges that go beyond simply having a safe place to sleep.
